iCartridge is a special container with all necessary reagents prefilled in the ten same-shaped tubes, and the trinity column put on the other side. Then the iCartridge is sealed automatically and waiting for transferring to the iColumn purification system. During the purification process, Trinity column set “moves” along each reagent well of iCartridge in an orderly manner. Nucleic acid is washed when the Trinity reaches each well, and waste is discarded back into the iCartridge.
